About

I’m Marina, a Bay Area native with a touch of Southern California in my past. I absolutely suffer from “eldest daughter syndrome” which sucks for me but is great for employers because I’m highly responsible and set high expectations for myself.

My foundation in Technical and Professional Writing instilled in me a love for clarity and process while being a People Leader provide the space for me to flex my real skills: connecting with and building up people.

I’m most proud of my ability to adapt and create stability for others. I feel like it’s kind of technical-writing-in-real-life; take something complex and ambiguous and present it in a way that people connect with.

I love to host (play-dates or girl’s night!), make greeting cards, and source mid-century modern decor.

Resumé

I’ve managed teams in tech, food, and retail industries. Each experience taught me how to recognize potential, nurture talent, cultivate growth, and have FUN. I love getting to support (and learn from) people. I also love leading strategic, cross-functional initiatives. In a perfect world, I could do both.

I’m increasingly interested in the bigger picture: the strategy, processes, and execution required to produce meaningful outcomes for people. There’s nuance in understanding how to harness AI for real, measurable outcomes and I enjoy finding those opportunities.

If you’re looking for leader or Leader, let’s connect!
